So why should you consider a Braun food processor over the alternatives from Kenwood, Dualit and Jamie Oliver?
Popular models include the Braun Multisystem Food Processor, the Braun Multipractic (now nearing twenty years since the initial version), the MR 5550 BC-HC, the Braun Combimax k-700 food processor, the 240, the K600, K700, K3000 and of course the current favourites the 4262 and the 4259.
If we look at the Braun Combimax K 600 Food Processor, this model is available at around a hundred pounds, but is a very serious model.

The kneading hook included has been a terrific innovation and works surprisingly well for a mixer in this price-range.
If we compare the Braun Multiquick 7 kitchen machine K 3000, this model typically retails for around double but comes with a very large set of attachments – if you don’t need these, the K600 may well be all you need.
The Braun Combimax K 700 Food Processor lies somewhere in-between, both in price level and in feature set. It may sound like it’s struggling with dough for bread or pizza bases, but it will get the job done.
Braun food processors are not as popular in the UK as they are in Germany, but they have a fantastic reputation for reliability and it is well worth buying one – importing via a UK reseller is painless and surprisingly quick.
