The Tefal Jamie Oliver food processor aims just above the budget-entry end of the market. You should be able to buy one of these in the UK for under £80. This is a tremendous price, but what you don’t get is the solidity of construction that you see in the more expensive food processors.
Among the good features of Jamie’s food processor are the smart integrated storage tray which hides sharp attachments neatly and its ability to grate cheese super-quick and grate chocolate with little waste.
A single bowl is provided suitable for all attachments, but the lid is a bit flimsy. The compact body of the do250d34 is obviously intended for cooks that are short of kitchen-top space – this processor is happy to be tucked in a cupboard in between week-end Jamie cook-along sessions.
As befits a processor aimed at the lower-to-mid market, it comes with good clear instructions.
The blender is very useful and good for student smoothies and milkshakes. Other attachments include emulsifying disc, fine slicer, course slicer, fine grater, course grater, parmesan grater and French fry cutter.
Among the cons for this processor is the volume at fast speed – it’s a willing machine but too loud when you give it some welly (and even when you don’t). It also cannot do some of the things you’d take for granted with a bigger model, such as crush ice.

The machine is made by Tefal, who claim this processor has a “patented special vortex mix system for a perfect mix every time”. Not really sure what they’re getting at here, the mixer seems good but not as exciting as the great man himself.
